Description:

Bugbrooke Primary School is located in the heart of the village. We welcome a diverse mix of children from the surrounding areas. One of the first things visitors notice about our friendly, inclusive school is the sense of team work and community spirit. We enjoy a strong partnership with parents and together with passionate teachers, our well-behaved children have a love of learning.

We are continually striving for improvement and to achieve this we ensure our school provides a supportive, nurturing environment where pupils and teachers alike embody our motto 'to be the best we can be'.

We have a dynamic culture where our teaching and support staff are motivated to make a difference to our school. Our purpose is to inspire confident, independent and inquisitive children. We believe all our children have a right to an education that helps them grow and develop to their fullest, being active participants in their own education. Consequently, we encourage our staff to put our children at the centre of everything we do; the children's ideas, preferences, learning styles, and interests are considered to ensure they have the opportunity everyday 'to be the best they can be".

Bugbrooke Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safer recruitment practice, and expects all its staff to share this commitment.  An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants and references will be requested for short-listed applicants prior to interview and will form part of the interview process.  The successful applicant will also be expected to undertake a medical questionnaire.
