Homework - Jaguars
Each week the children will be learning a new spelling rule. In their spelling book they will have a sheet that contains words from that list and a variety of Common Exception Words. On weekly basis the sheet needs to be completed, sentences written in Kinetic Letters, to be handed in on the test date set (at the top of the sheet). The book will need to be available in school each day.
Children should be reading at least 5 times a week, this should be logged and signed by an adult every time. We recommend that you also sit and discuss with your child the content of the text, asking questions and sharing your love of books – we will be sending out information to help with this.
We expect everyone in Year 3 and 4 to practise their times table facts on a regular basis ready for weekly tests.

Learning Logs - we are not setting these during the Spring Term
These will support the learning in school in a variety of subjects. We expect children to take care with their work and give them 2 weeks to complete the work.
